Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that aims to prevent, diagnose, and treat physical impairments, disabilities, and pain through non-invasive methods. We use various techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and education to help restore, maintain, and improve movement, function, and quality of life.
Physiotherapy is often used to treat a wide range of conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, chronic pain, and sports injuries. Physiotherapy can also be used to promote overall health and wellness by improving fitness, balance, and mobility.
Our world-class physiotherapists will conduct a thorough assessment to identify the root cause of your problem and develop a personalized treatment plan. Treatment is patient-centered and may involve a combination of techniques such as therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, electrical stimulation, and heat or cold therapy.
Our goal is to help our patients live their healthiest lives by achieving their functional goals, improving their quality of life, and preventing further injury or disability.
Prenatal and Postnatal Massages
Prenatal massage is a type of massage therapy designed specifically for pregnant women to help them cope with the physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy. Using our state-of-the-art equipment pregnant mothers can lie on their tummy during the massage, without harming the baby. This massage focuses on easing muscle tension and reducing swelling in the legs, ankles, and feet. Prenatal massage can also help to alleviate lower back pain, improve circulation, and reduce stress and anxiety.
Postnatal massage, on the other hand, is a type of massage therapy designed for women who have recently given birth. It aims to help new mothers recover from the physical and emotional stress of childbirth by addressing issues such as muscle tension, soreness, and fatigue. Postnatal massage can also help to improve circulation, promote relaxation, and stimulate milk production in breastfeeding mothers.
Both prenatal and postnatal massage can be beneficial for women during pregnancy and after childbirth. These massages are carried out by our Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist who has an intricate knowledge of the female body especially as it relates to safe massage practices during pregnancy.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a specialized form of physiotherapy that focuses on the pelvic floor muscles and related structures. The pelvic floor muscles are a group of muscles that support the pelvic organs, including the bladder, uterus or prostate, and rectum.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy is used to help prevent and treat a range of conditions related to the pelvic floor, including pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, and pre-and post-partum issues.
During a pelvic floor physiotherapy session, the therapist will typically conduct a thorough assessment to identify any muscle imbalances, weakness, or tension in the pelvic floor muscles. The assessment may involve internal and external manual techniques, biofeedback, or ultrasound imaging.
Based on the assessment, the therapist will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include a combination of techniques such as pelvic floor muscle exercises, manual therapy, behavioral modifications, and education on posture, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a non-invasive, safe, and effective approach to treating pelvic floor dysfunction. It can help patients regain control and function of their pelvic floor muscles, improve their quality of life, and prevent further complications.
